The fireworks display at Darling Harbour takes place almost every Saturday. They're a means to attract thousands of people to the area every Saturday night in order to support the local businesses and restaurants in the area. I usually take my photographs from atop the Western Distributor which can be accessed via nearby ramps or from Harris Street, Ultimo. Not only are there less people, it's also a better perspective of the fireworks than from the dock below.
I like to think that my skills have improved since last January when the giant duck was in the harbour for the Sydney Festival. Majority of the fireworks shot between 5 & 10 seconds exposure.
