I'm on the fence about getting in to Revelations Online. On one hand i have a lot to do in World of Warcraft but on the other hand I'm looking for the next great Asian MMORPG fix. Black Desert Online was ok, but I exclusively do trade runs in that game. I started doing some whale hunting but the mini game was a slog and not too impressed by the handling of vehicles in that game.
Revelations Online is a Chinese fantasy MMORPG. The premise of the game is the classic troupe of demonic invasion, good and evil clashing. The main selling point to the game is flight, kind of like Aion. Movement appears to be unrestricted so you could have mid-air battles or use flight to get around a battlefield.
Revelation Online is an ambitious and breathtaking new MMO in which players will discover an amazing adventure. Explore a vibrant world of ancient mystery using the power of flight without any boundaries. It is difficult to come across this much and diverse content for any type and level of player. The game includes numerous PVP modes, like a Last Man Standing arena, sieges for up to hundreds of players, as well as PVE raids, requiring teamwork and tactical gameplay.
There are six classes to choose from and i think the blademaster and swordmage appeals to me.
Founder's packs are out but i'm wary of these after Archeage and Black Desert Online. You just don't know how worthwhile these packs are until you get into the game and even then you might not even use it as it's bound to a character (as opposed to account bound). It looks like it'll be a cash shop model like Black Desert Online. They're still trying to decide whether to charge us up front or not with respects to their business model.
