I went along to ski at the Snowy Mountains this weekend. I haven't been to the snow since highschool, and even then I wasn't able to ski so resorted to tobaggoning down the slopes at Perisher. This time I was keen to at least try skiing and maybe attempt boarding the next time i get a chance to visit again.
Overall it was an enjoyable weekend but skiing is tough work. I've come home with pains and aches in muscles of my body I did not know I had.
I only carried the Sony RX100 compact camera and the Sekonic L308S light metre. The light metre came in handy on the snow slopes. The camera was having difficulty exposing the landscape because of the reflectivity of the snow. It was easy to over expose and the light metre would show the correct exposure settings every time.
I also captured some long exposures over the weekend.
